DGSN Catches 96 Cheaters in Moroccan Police Entrance Exam, Including Officers

The precautions taken by the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) to ensure transparency during the entrance exams for police training cycles are finally paying off. 96 cases of fraud were detected on Sunday.
This year, the DGSN has left no room for attempts at fraud and other practices contrary to the required standards and norms for this type of exam. It has strengthened control and surveillance measures to ensure equal opportunities, reports Médias24.
Among the 96 cases of fraud that these measures have helped detect, 16 involve police officers who took the exam as candidates. These police officers were referred to the judicial police brigades and are already under investigation.
Similarly, a police commissioner was relieved of his position as a member of the exam supervision committee in Tangier. According to a DGSN statement, the person in question is suspected of having favored a candidate.
On Sunday, 5 exams were organized for the recruitment of police commissioners and officers, peace officers, police inspectors and police guards. In total, 77,140 candidates, spread across 217 centers, took part, the same source said.
