Morocco’s Olympic Soccer Team to Face Defending Champions Brazil in Paris 2024 Prep Matches

The Moroccan U23 Olympic team will face Brazil, the defending champion, in two friendly matches. These matches will take place on September 7 and 11 at 8 p.m. at the Fès Sports Complex. The main objective is to prepare the two teams for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Crowned in Tokyo in 2021, Brazil has chosen to play against the Atlas Lions, who have just been crowned African champions. The latter secured their qualification by winning a historic victory in the U23 Africa Cup of Nations, in July, against Egypt with a tight score of 2-1.
Morocco and Egypt secured their participation in the Paris 2024 Olympics after victories in the semi-finals. As for the third place in the African tournament, it went to Mali, who thus obtained the last ticket for Paris, after a match against Guinea.
