Morocco Offers 30% Hotel Discount to Boost Summer Tourism

In an effort to create a climate of appeasement, the National Federation of the Hotel Industry (FNIH) has decided to extend its seduction campaign to all Moroccans. The exceptional 30% discount on hotel rates for Moroccans residing abroad is also intended for nationals, provided the stay is booked for a period not exceeding September 30.
Since the announcement of King Mohammed VI’s instructions to facilitate the return of Moroccans residing abroad (MREs), the offers from players in the tourism and transport sectors have not stopped multiplying. Airfares, hotel accommodation costs, transport chains, all have put in place offers to seduce the flow of tourists expected for the summer season, reports the daily Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.
To boost domestic tourism, hotel operators have decided not to make any distinction between MREs and domestic tourists. The 30% reduction, originally intended for MREs, is extended to all Moroccans.
This new decision by accommodation professionals will generate emulation throughout the tourism chain, explains the daily, which indicates that meetings are already multiplying at the level of travel agencies and car rental players who should also join this seduction campaign launched by the FNIH.
Furthermore, the federation’s press release specifies that children under 12 years of age benefit from a free stay in their parents’ room. These various offers promise an unprecedented summer season that will meet the needs of the national economy as well as the fulfillment of citizens.
