Morocco Offers Free Levothyrox to Thyroid Patients Amid Shortage

Levothyrox is now available from the provincial health delegations in Morocco. Patients suffering from thyroid disorders can obtain it free of charge at these centers, provided they have their medical records and a prescription.
This is good news for patients suffering from thyroid disorders who have had difficulty accessing Levothyrox. The government seems to have found the ideal solution to somewhat relieve patients who have complained about the scarcity of this drug, reports Medias24.
The green toll-free number 0801005353 is still available for patients who are unable to find this drug in pharmacies in the Kingdom.
Despite the restocking of the national market, Levothyrox, which has been in short supply since July 2019, is still scarce in pharmacies, the same source specifies.
