To deal with the covid-19 epidemic, the Office des Changes grants an "exceptional" tourist allocation to Moroccans stranded abroad due to the closure of air, sea and land links.
In a press release, the Office invited people wishing to benefit from this exceptional allocation, estimated at 20,000 DH, to contact their banks.
For the time being, no further details have been provided on this subject by the office.
This decision is part of the many measures taken by the Moroccan government to support its 18,000 citizens stranded abroad, pending their repatriation to the country.
