Morocco’s National Team Extends Marrakech Stay to Acclimate for Africa Cup of Nations

The national coach, Hervé Renard, has decided to keep them in concentration in Marrakech, in order to get them used to the climate of Cairo. Originally, they were supposed to return, in the evening, near Rabat.
Two recovery sessions have been scheduled, during their stay in the ochre city, on Tuesday and Wednesday, so that they can acclimatize to the temperature of the Egyptian capital, Cairo. The squad had carried out most of its preparation in Maâmora.
Following the two warm-up matches against Gambia and Zambia, the national team is ready to make the final adjustments before taking on the challenges of the African competition, with a first match against Namibia and two formidable opponents, Côte d’Ivoire and South Africa.
Moreover, the national team squad is complete, with the arrival of goalkeeper Mounir Mohammedi, who has just played the last two matches with his club, Malaga.
