Morocco National Soccer Team Staff Take 50% Pay Cut for COVID-19 Fund

The coach of Morocco, Vahid Hallilhodzic, the boss of the National Technical Directorate, Osian Roberts, and the coaching staff, all want to contribute to the Covid-19 Fund. They have agreed to halve their salaries for the good cause.
After facing criticism on social media for failing to contribute to the wave of solidarity advocated by King Mohammed VI, the national coach, the head of the DTN, the Moroccan and foreign executives and staff of the National Technical Directorate have finally reacted.
In addition to the heads of the technical staff, several other Moroccan and foreign executives of the National Technical Directorate have also decided to agree to a reduction in their salaries to participate in the "war" effort against covid-19. The players of the national team were also associated with the initiative. A bank account number was communicated to them to receive their contribution.
All these contributions will moreover be paid into the Special Fund to fight the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The announcement of this operation will soon be made on the federation’s website, we are told.
