Morocco Coach Eyes Three New Talents for National Soccer Team

National coach Vahid Halilhodzic wants to inject new blood into his team. 3 players have been targeted and are being monitored by officials of the National Technical Directorate (DTN) before joining the Atlas Lions squad.
Back from France where he was confined with his family, the national coach does not want to waste time. This list he has drawn up was validated during a meeting that brought together Vahid and the officials of Moroccan football, reports Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.
During this meeting, the discussions also focused on the upcoming deadlines for the Atlas Lions, including the two remaining matches for the qualifications of the Africa Cup of Nations, now scheduled for 2022 following a postponement due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus.
According to the same daily, Vahid Halilhodzic took stock of his steps during confinement. According to him, he managed to identify certain profiles playing in Europe who could wear the national jersey, namely the FC Nantes player Imrane Louza, the player of the German club Paderborn, Abdelhamid Essabiri, or even Rafik Zakhnini, player of the Dutch club FC Twente.
