Morocco’s National Railway Slashes TGV Fares, Boosts Service for Summer Travel

As the summer season approaches, several promotional offers have been launched by the National Railway Office (ONCF). Significant reductions in ticket prices and an increase in train frequencies are offered to travelers, during the period from June 24 to September 15, 2019.
From June 24, a fleet of 230 shuttles will be put into service on the main rail routes, in particular Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Fez, Marrakech, Oujda and Nador, according to a press release from the Office.
The T.G.V. will make 30 trips per day, on the Casablanca-Tangier axis, at a rate of 15 trips per direction and an interval of one hour between the trains. The ONCF has beefed up its "Al Boraq PROMO" promotion offer. The shuttle will be accessible at a price of 99 dirhams, for the Casablanca-Tangier route, 89 dirhams, for Rabat-Tangier, and finally 79, for Kenitra-Tangier. To take advantage of these offers, reservations must be made one week in advance.
In addition, 6 additional trains will be added to the Casablanca-Marrakech axis, bringing this line to 24 daily connections, with a travel time of 2h30mn. The connections from Oujda and Nador to Casablanca and Tangier will be set at 4 departures per day, at a price of 99 dirhams, for second class and 149 dirhams, for first class.
The "Yalla" offer allows you to enjoy the "Al Atlas" trains every day on all the main axes of the Kingdom, at the promotional price of 49 dirhams.
