Morocco’s National Highway Company Reports Success from 3-Year Transformation Plan
The national motorway company of Morocco welcomed the results obtained in view of the structural transformations undertaken for the past 3 years.
According to the latest activity report of the National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM), the structural transformations initiated by ADM in recent years are bearing fruit, as all the projects carried out by the operator are in consolidation. For the CEO of ADM, Anouar Benaazzouz, "2018 was for the National Motorway Company of Morocco the year of consolidation and acceleration of the structural transformations, initiated 3 years ago and imprinted on the overall strategy of our company".
According to him, ADM’s good health is reflected in its financial soundness. "The results reported for the 2018 fiscal year are satisfactory. This reflects the scope of the financial recovery plan undertaken since 2016 and based on the optimization and rationalization of costs. An effort that had a satisfactory impact on the recovery of ADM’s financial indicators," added the ADM boss.
Digitalization is also an axis of the major industrialization project carried out by the company and focusing on the digitalization and complete industrialization of the toll sectors, as well as on the maintenance and computerization of traffic management.
As for ADM’s industrialization project, it is based on the "automation plan" integrating the programs for upgrading the telecommunications infrastructure, modernizing the toll stations, developing the Jawaz electronic toll, remote trades and deploying field equipment for traffic supervision.
