Morocco Mandates Masks on Highways: Motorway Company Implements COVID-19 Safety Measures

The National Motorway Company has adopted new measures regarding the mandatory wearing of masks, in order to deal with covid-19.
In a press release published on its website, the company stated that this decision follows the joint press release of the Ministries of Health, Interior, Economy, Finance and Public Administration Reform, and Industry, Trade and Green and Digital Economy, making the wearing of masks mandatory from April 7 for any person outside their place of residence.
It also specifies that it has made a stock of masks available to its employees who are not in telework mode. ADM also states that it has provided them to its entire ecosystem, made up of private companies in charge of outsourced services and construction companies in charge of infrastructure projects and maintenance work in progress, to equip their personnel.
As part of the system put in place by ADM since the beginning of the covid-19 crisis, this operation aims to ensure the continuity of the services of the National Motorway Company, while preserving the health of its customer-users, its staff and its ecosystem, in accordance with the recommendations of the competent authorities.
