Morocco Limits Funeral Attendance to 10 People Amid COVID-19 Surge

The government decided on Wednesday to limit to 10 the number of people who can be present at funeral and burial ceremonies.
"Based on the legal provisions relating to the management of the state of health emergency, and within the framework of the preventive measures in force to limit the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic, and in order to preserve the health of citizens, the government has decided to limit to a maximum of 10 people the presence at funeral and burial ceremonies," the government said in a statement.
Note that this measure was also taken to deal with the appearance of the Omicron variant, the note specifies.
