Morocco Likely to Extend COVID-19 Lockdown as Cases Surge

Morocco could be forced to extend the state of emergency a second time. The epidemiological situation in the kingdom, marked by a resurgence of covid-19 cases, could be behind this likely extension.
The Head of Government is highly anticipated, next Monday, on the measures to be taken and the possible scenarios for the post-confinement period, reports Al Alam.
If the extension of the health emergency measures and confinement is increasingly considered, it is justified by several indications, including the statement by the Minister of Health that we could not take the risk of lifting the confinement at the moment.
Another indication is the postponement of the baccalaureate exams until July.
