Morocco Launches ’e-Police’ Portal for Online Administrative Services

The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) is taking a new step in its modernization. Starting tomorrow, Friday, December 20, Moroccans will be able to access "e-police", a web portal that brings together several administrative services.
The stated objective of the DGSN is clear: to facilitate administrative procedures by offering a simple, fast and secure online service, accessible to all, wherever you are in the Kingdom.
Designed with a focus on efficiency and ease of use, "e-police" incorporates the latest technologies in e-administration. The DGSN emphasizes the speed of processing requests, remote identity verification and the protection of personal data.
Among the first services available on this portal is the request for an extract of the anthropometric record. Until now, this procedure required physically going to a police station. From now on, it will be enough to connect to "e-police" and identify yourself using your electronic national identity card via the "Trusted Third Parties" and "Digital Identity" platforms. Once the request is validated, the citizen will receive an electronic notification informing them of the availability of their document, which they can collect at the registration center of their choice.
"E-police" also offers other online services, such as making an appointment to obtain the electronic national identity card or registering for police exams. And this is just the beginning! The DGSN plans to gradually enrich "e-police" with new features. The certificate of residence and the request for renewal of the electronic national identity card should be integrated in the near future.
