Morocco Boosts Training for Notaries to Combat ID Fraud

Strengthening the capacities of the adouls to fight fraud related to national identity cards. This is the objective of the training initiated by the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN), in collaboration with the National Council of Adouls of Morocco.
These trainings are part of the convention signed between the two institutions, relating to the use of data from the electronic national identity card (CNIE). They aim to equip the adouls with technical, technological and digital tools to detect fraud related to suspicious national cards. A session was recently organized by the Regional Council of Adouls near the Court of Appeal of Tanger, under the supervision of the DGSN. This session aimed to strengthen the capacities of the professionals of the adoulaire authentication to face the real estate mafias, relays Le Matin.
This training "is mainly aimed at allowing the adouls to verify the identity of individuals in a secure manner, in order to protect the profession against attempts at fraud and to guarantee the contractual security and the authenticity of the adoulaire acts. It also contributes to the fight against networks of forgery and fraud that exploit technology to usurp the rights and property of others," explained Said Essaroukh, president of the Regional Council of Adouls near the Court of Appeal of Tanger, in a statement to the press.
In the same vein, Idriss Trali, member of the executive office of the National Council of Adouls of Morocco, added that these trainings aim to provide technological tools to the adouls in order to guarantee the reliability of notarial acts, in particular to verify the identity of citizens thanks to a new electronic service giving them direct access to the data of the national identity card.
