Morocco Launches Nationwide Crackdown on Dangerous Night Driving

The DGSN (General Directorate of National Security) wants to crack down on spectacular and dangerous driving behaviors observed at night in major cities. To this end, checks have been launched to track down and punish drivers.
This campaign aims to reduce serious accidents caused by driver recklessness, according to a DGSN statement, specifying that teams have been deployed across the territory to strengthen control operations on the various circuits and roads where this type of spectacular and dangerous driving behavior is reported.
Similarly, the control teams have been made aware in order to apprehend all drivers who make modifications to the technical characteristics of their vehicles without submitting them to the necessary validation, and modify the exhaust system to emit noises that disturb public tranquility.
In support of these measures, an educational kit has been developed for students in schools, in order to explain to them the dangers of this type of spectacular driving, the same source said.
