Morocco Launches Emergency Flights to Evacuate Citizens from Ukraine Amid Rising Tensions

Morocco has decided to repatriate its nationals stranded in Ukraine, a country currently facing border tensions. In charge, the airlines Air Arabia and Royal Air Maroc.
In a message posted on its Twitter account, the Air Arabia company announced that it will operate a repatriation flight for Moroccans stranded in Ukraine, tomorrow Tuesday, February 15, between Kiev and Tangier. It invites potential travelers to consult its website for more information. For its part, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has also scheduled a special repatriation flight the same day. A medium-haul aircraft will operate this flight.
On Saturday, the Moroccan embassy in Kiev called on Moroccan citizens in Ukraine to leave the country for their safety. "In light of the current situation, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Kiev recommends that Moroccan citizens in Ukraine leave the country for their safety via available commercial flights," the diplomatic representation said in a statement. It also made phone numbers available to receive their calls.
