Morocco Launches Coastal Demolition Drive in Nador to Clear Public Beaches

Like several other cities, the local authorities of Nador have launched demolition operations on dwellings built on the public maritime domain.
The beaches of Arekmane, Ras El Ma, and Beni Ensar are affected by these operations, which aim to free the public maritime domain from all forms of illegal occupation and housing, according to sources at Nadorcity, specifying that the governor of the province will personally oversee the execution of these operations.
Before the launch of the demolition operations, notices will be sent to the owners or residents of these dwellings so that they can vacate the premises as soon as possible, it is recalled. For some citizens, this measure is an opportunity, as it will stimulate the local economic activity and create jobs, thus contributing to the development of the region.
