Morocco’s King Praises World Cup Coach Regragui for Historic Run
King Mohammed VI had a telephone conversation with the national team coach, Walid Regragui, following their World Cup run in Qatar.
During this conversation, the Sovereign paid a vibrant tribute to the coach, the players and all the components of the national team for their brilliant achievements in this Cup, while wishing them full success in their upcoming matches, according to the MAP.
The monarch praised Walid Regragui’s performance for having been able, in just a few months at the head of the national team, to forge a group of players so compact and combative, to the point of marking this competition and honoring the Moroccan people and the international public with its high values of sportsmanship and exemplary talent.
In addition to Walid Regragui, King Mohammed VI also spoke with the captain of the national team Romain Saiss, to whom the Sovereign wished a speedy recovery for his injury, congratulating him on his leadership, while also asking him to convey the royal warm congratulations to the entire team.
