Morocco’s King Mohammed VI Undergoes Surgery After Sporting Accident

King Mohammed VI underwent a surgical operation on Sunday, December 8, following a fall, according to a statement from the Royal Palace, which specifies that this occurred during a sporting activity. Here is the full statement:
"During a usual sporting activity carried out this Sunday, December 8, 2024, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, had a fall resulting in trauma to the left shoulder with a fracture of the humerus.
This fracture required a surgical intervention, which was successfully carried out today at the Royal Palace Clinic in Rabat.
Following this intervention, the left shoulder of His Majesty the King, may God protect him, will be immobilized for a period of 45 days, followed by a period of functional rehabilitation.
May God preserve His Majesty the King, grant him a speedy recovery and bestow upon him the blessings of good health."
