London is on the list of official visits that Mohammed VI will make during the year. This will be the sovereign’s first visit since his accession to the throne.
According to the Casablanca monthly Économie&Entreprise, preparations are well underway for the smooth running of this official visit.
In January, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson had invited the King of Morocco to participate in the UK Africa Summit, which was held in London, in the presence of 12 heads of state.
But the Moroccans had politely declined the invitation, showing their preference for an official visit by King Mohammed VI.
