Morocco’s King Mohammed VI to Make Long-Delayed Official Visit to Egypt in March

King Mohammed VI is to make an official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt in the coming weeks. Postponed five times in a row, the royal visit will finally take place during the month of March.
These postponements, communicated by the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, in person to the Egyptian embassy in Morocco, would have provoked the exasperation of Egyptian diplomacy, according to rue20.
During his stay in Egypt, the Sovereign will have talks with the Egyptian President, Abdelfettah Sissi, regarding the political situation in the region and at the international level. The two heads of state will also have the opportunity to discuss the possibilities of developing bilateral cooperation.
Furthermore, the Sovereign is also expected in Saudi Arabia, where the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, and the King’s Advisor, Fouad Ali El Himma, had made a 48-hour visit earlier this week.
