Morocco’s King Mohammed VI to Make Official Visit to Saudi Arabia in March

King Mohammed VI is expected in Saudi Arabia at the beginning of March. A delegation, composed of the King’s Advisor, Fouad Ali El Himma, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, arrived on Tuesday evening in Riyadh.
During their 48-hour visit to Saudi Arabia, the two envoys should deliver a message from Mohammed VI to the Saudi Sovereign, Salman bin Abdulaziz, reported the local daily, Ilaf.
The presence of El Himma and Bourita in Saudi Arabia comes as a prelude to the royal visit, scheduled for the first half of next month, and aims to prepare the arrival of the Sovereign under optimal conditions.
The Moroccan Foreign Minister had mentioned the day before, on the sidelines of the meeting with the President of the Saudi Shura Council, visiting Rabat, the intensity of bilateral relations between the two countries, and the need to develop strategic ties.
