Morocco Joins US-Led Multinational Military Exercise in Jordan

Under the command of the US army, Morocco is participating in an important annual military exercise in Jordan.
Since Sunday, Morocco is training alongside the United States, Jordan, Egypt, France, Italy and Gulf countries in the Jordanian desert as part of the annual Eager Lion military exercise. The exercise aims to improve the planning and execution of joint operations, counterterrorism, crisis management, optimal protection of strategic facilities, as well as the fight against cyber attacks.
Thus, the air, land and naval forces participating in the military maneuvers will have to deploy missiles and fighter jets and collaborate in land, airborne, air and maritime operations, it is specified. Some of the equipment is of the new generation of war weapons. In total, more than 9,000 soldiers and observers are actively participating in Eager Lion.
