Morocco Issues Safety Alert for Citizens in Colombia Amid Political Crisis

Faced with the political crisis in Colombia, the Moroccan Embassy has issued directives to both the Moroccan community residing in this South American country and Moroccan tourists.
Through a statement dated Saturday, November 23, the Moroccan Embassy in Colombia informed "the Moroccan community residing in this country as well as Moroccan tourists present there that before the national state of alert and the events of the last few hours, the following telephone number has been urgently activated: (57) 313.24.76.704".
Similarly, they are also asked to "contact the embassy in case of emergency by email... or via the Facebook page... which are constantly checked," the same source specifies.
In addition, the diplomatic representation has asked Moroccans to avoid demonstration sites and to respect the curfew hours established by the Colombian authorities.
