Moroccan Expat Assaulted in Algeria Pleads for Embassy Aid After Violent Attack

A Moroccan national residing in Algeria, victim of an attempted homicide, has launched an appeal for help to the Moroccan embassy. Assaulted by his neighbor, an Algerian citizen, the latter allegedly relieved him of his passport and money.
In a Facebook post, Mohamed Adib, a plasterer by profession, deplores the lack of reaction from the embassy officials, stating that he has been in the hospital for more than five days.
"The fifth day in the hospital... I will have a clearer idea of the importance given by the Moroccan state to the Moroccan community abroad. What is the role of the Moroccan embassy in Algeria, if it does not even deign to respond to the Algerian authorities?" he wrote in his post.
Seriously injured in the skull and various parts of his body by his neighbor, Mohamed Adib is asking for the assistance of the Moroccan embassy in Algiers in order to recover his passport and money.
