Morocco–Israel: resumption of direct flights after more than a year of suspension
Suspended since the outbreak of the war in Gaza in October 2023, direct flights between Israel and Morocco resume for the delight of Israelis.
Good news for Israelis. They can once again take off for Morocco. Direct flights between Israel and the kingdom, suspended at the beginning of the war between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas due to the heightened security alert for travelers to Morocco, will resume this Thursday, November 13, 2025.
This resumption comes after several weeks of discussions between the Israeli Minister of Transport, Miri Regev, and her Moroccan counterpart, Abdessamad Kayouh, according to the Israeli channel i24News, adding that these discussions have led to a joint authorization from the civil aviation authorities of the two countries. This decision reflects the restoration of cooperation between Rabat and Tel Aviv, formalized since the normalization of bilateral relations in December 2020.
