As part of the energy transition initiated by Morocco, Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita announced that the kingdom will invest an envelope of 14.5 billion DH in an integrated wind power program, which will be commissioned by 2024.

According to the Moroccan Observatory of Energy (OME), Morocco has committed to projects aimed at developing the energy sector that will cost the state $40 billion by 2030, of which $30 billion will be dedicated to renewable energies.
According to the Reuters agency, which cites a tweet from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the integrated wind energy program that will be commissioned by 2024 will consist of wind farms installed throughout the kingdom. And to add that the implementation of this project will be a victory for Morocco’s energy transition.
