Morocco Investigates Possible First Coronavirus Case as Chinese National Isolated

With the intervention of the National Institute of Hygiene, the health authorities in Kenitra are taking a suspected case of Coronavirus very seriously. If confirmed, it would be the first case of this deadly virus in Morocco.
Arrived for three weeks via Mohammed V International Airport, a Chinese national has been placed in isolation, after undergoing intensive medical examinations. He has been suffering from an idiopathic flu for 3 days.
Pending the results of the analyzes, a general panic has seized the medical staff, although the management of the establishment is trying to reassure them about the absence of risks.
For the authorities, it would rather be a case of seasonal flu, which has been placed in quarantine as a safety measure, as part of the provisions put in place by the authorities to monitor the epidemic and fight against the risk of viral proliferation.
