Morocco Intensifies World Cup Qualifier Preparations for Niger, Tanzania Matches

The Moroccan national football team is intensifying its preparation at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maamoura. The Atlas Lions are preparing for two important matches against Niger and Tanzania, counting for the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
On Wednesday, March 19, the team held its third training session. All the players summoned by coach Walid Regragui were present. This session focused on technical and tactical aspects, assessment of the players’ physical condition and integration of new elements.
Wednesday evening marked the last session at the Mohammed VI Complex. The team will then move to Saïdia on Thursday, where it will settle at the Regional Football Federal Center. A training session is scheduled at the Honneur Sports Complex in Oujda after the breaking of the fast.
On Friday, March 21 at 9:30 p.m., Morocco will face Niger at the Honneur Sports Complex in Oujda.
On Tuesday, March 25, at the same time and in the same place, the Atlas Lions will meet Tanzania. These two matches are part of the fifth round of the qualifiers.
