Morocco’s Imrane Louza Celebrates Team’s Historic World Cup Run from Sidelines

Ruled out of the World Cup due to injury, Moroccan international Imrane Louza expressed his pride in the journey of his teammates in Qatar.
Imrane Louza did not miss a single one of Morocco’s matches. He is happy for this historic journey of the Atlas Lions, but sad to be absent from this great event. "A special moment, shared emotions between the sadness of not being able to be with the group. A huge congratulations to the brothers who are making history today."
On Twitter, the Watford player also addressed a message to the supporters, for their accompaniment. "A big congratulations to the Moroccan people who show the best support. A last thought for all those who could have been there... The story is not over."
All the Moroccan players who missed the appointment are sad, Louza said, confiding in the exchanges he had with Amine Harit. "I talked to him yesterday, and he told me that he was obviously sad and frustrated, because he was supposed to be there, I really feel sorry for him. What he’s doing with Marseille is incredible, the fact that he’s not with the group, it’s hard. But the guys are surely thinking of him when they bring back victories," he stressed.
But on Monday, Amine Harit joined his teammates in Qatar to experience the match between Morocco and France live. Captain Romain Saïss even shared a photo with the latter.
