Morocco Imposes 11 PM Curfew on Cafes and Restaurants, Limits Capacity to 50%

Cafe owners have received with dismay the new drastic conditions imposed by the authorities for the reopening of cafes and restaurants. However, a small favor has been granted to them in terms of opening hours.
Restaurant owners will be able to welcome their customers until eleven o’clock in the evening. A measure that is likely to displease restaurateurs, who start their activities in the early evening.
As part of the second phase of deconfinement, announced by three ministries in a joint press release, cafes and restaurants must operate at a maximum of 50% of their capacity. And this as long as social distancing remains mandatory.
