Cafes and restaurants in Tangier are required to close early due to the increase in the number of new coronavirus infections.
The decision was made during a meeting held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the Wilaya of Tangier in the presence of members of the regional office of the National Association of Cafes and Restaurants in Morocco. The situation is serious and difficult decisions must be made for the well-being of the population.
From now on, until the situation stabilizes, cafes must close no later than 8 pm, while restaurants will be able to close at 11 pm. They are also asked to strictly comply with preventive measures.
