Morocco Hosts Brazil in High-Profile Friendly: World Cup Stars Face Off in Tangier

The Atlas Lions, semi-finalists of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, will face Brazil, five-time world champions, in a friendly match at the Grand Stade de Tanger this Saturday, March 25. This match is generating great interest in Morocco, but also beyond its borders, due to the quality of the players that make up the two teams.
Moroccan supporters will have the opportunity to see again Sofiane Boufal, Hakim Ziyech, Achraf Hakimi and Azzedine Ounahi, who will face players such as Vinicius Jr, Raphinha, Rodrygo and many others. In total, some 65,000 spectators are expected tonight at the Grand Stade de Tanger.
The kick-off of the match is scheduled for 10pm, Moroccan time (11pm in Europe). To follow the live match, you will have to tune in to the Arriyadia TV channel which has exclusive broadcast rights.
Regragui expects a very difficult Morocco-Brazil match:
The national coach, Walid Regragui, accompanied by his captain, Romain Saïss, discussed the chances of the national team in the friendly match against Brazil on March 25. Walid Regragui says that Morocco is not the favorite against one of the best teams in the world, but that they will play with humility while trying to pose them as many problems as possible.
For the coach, Morocco intends to put on a great performance to show that the World Cup was not a surprise and to honor its audience, revealing that Achraf Hakimi’s presence was not assured due to a hamstring injury and that the young people called up, although they had been summoned, had little chance of participating.
However, the coach stressed that he had a lot of hope in this new rising generation and that he was also trying to prepare a generation so that Morocco is never short of quality players in the future.
