Morocco’s Highway Authority Warns of Heavy Traffic as Vacation Season Begins

Vacations in Morocco are starting in a few days, and caution must be exercised, according to the National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM). Information and other information on the current state of traffic can be obtained by consulting the ADM-Trafic application.
According to the recommendations made by ADM to its customers, peak hours on the motorway routes near seaside resorts should be avoided, especially "between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM in the middle of the week", and "between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM on weekends". It indicated that since the lifting of the containment measures, "traffic on the motorway network is irregular with sometimes unpredictable peaks".
That’s why it suggests to its customer-users to opt for Jawaz which "ensures their safety and comfort, while saving them time", reports the MAP which stresses that "the promotional offer allowing to acquire the Jawaz Pass at the symbolic price of 10 DH is still ongoing".
Vacationers are also invited to be careful about the disruptions that traffic has been experiencing since the restrictive measures put in place to contain the spread of the coronavirus have been eased.
