Morocco’s High-Speed Rail Hits 10 Million Passengers, Celebrates 4 Years of Growth

Inaugurated in 2018, the Moroccan high-speed train Al Boraq, is blowing out its fourth candle this Tuesday, November 15. With 10 million passengers transported since its commissioning, the high-speed train is showing remarkable success.
On this occasion, Al Boraq has taken stock of the performance of its network. According to the figures from the management, the number of passengers using the high-speed train has increased considerably in recent years, from 3 million travelers in 2019 to 10 million today. According to forecasts, it will close the current year with more than 4 million passengers.
To celebrate the event, Al Boraq has decided to offer 400 free travel cards to children from November 15 to 20. The promotional offer also takes into account children born in November 2018, called the "Al Boraq generation", who will be able to benefit from free trips for an entire year.
To take advantage of this offer, Al Boraq invites the parents of eligible children to go to the four high-speed stations (Casa-voyageurs, Rabat-Agdal, Kénitra, Tanger-Ville) to request their cards or to consult the website and official pages on social networks or to contact the customer relationship center at 2255.
