Morocco’s Hidden Gems: TV Show Explores Charming Villages Beyond Tourist Hotspots

The "Échappées belles" program this Saturday, September 24 offers to discover Morocco. The magazine presented by Ismaël Khelifa wants to introduce little-known villages of the kingdom but which have their charm just like the cities that attract foreign tourists.
Far from cities like Marrakech, Tangier, Rabat, Essaouira, Agadir, Casablanca, whose fame goes beyond the borders of the country, Ismaël Khelifa takes the viewers this Saturday to discover the Moroccan villages, all as charming with their breathtaking tourist landscapes.
The presenter promises a memorable ride with unusual and warm encounters like that of a pilot in Ait Ben Haddou, the mountaineer in Tahanaout, or this farming family in Tamegroute. For Ismaël Khelifa, it is a question of shining the spotlight on the life of the inhabitants of these Moroccan villages, revealing the reasons why, unlike others, they have chosen a secluded life, far from everything.
The "Échappées belles" magazine: Morocco, from village to village; it’s next Saturday at 8:55 pm on France 5.
