Morocco’s Halilhodzic Includes 7 CHAN Stars in Preliminary Squad for World Cup Qualifiers
The national team coach, Vahid Halilhodzic, is about to call up seven players from the Botola. These players who stood out during the African Nations Championship (CHAN) will be included on the preliminary list in preparation for the matches against Mauritania and Burundi.
On this preliminary list of 27 players selected for these two competitions, these 7 CHAN revelations should appear. These are the goalkeeper Anas Zniti, the top scorer and best player of the CHAN, Soufiane Rahimi, and the midfielder of the Greens, Abdelilah Hafidi.
The Atlas Lions coach also plans to call up the WAC midfielder Yahya Jabrane, the Chabab Mohammedia defender Abdelmounaim Boutouil, the Ittihad Tanger goalkeeper Hicham El Majhad and the Moghreb de Tétouan defender, Hamza El Moussaoui. According to Al Ahdath Al Maghribia, this list will be unveiled very soon by the coach of the Moroccan national team.
