Morocco Given 0.3% Chance of World Cup Victory, Analysts Say

According to Opta Analyst, Morocco has virtually no chance of winning the next football World Cup. The country is credited with only 0.3% chance of victory.
Less than two weeks before the start of the competition, the British sports analysis company has revealed its statistics, based on the recent performance of the teams in the running. According to the figures, Morocco’s chances of winning the cup, placed in Group F with Belgium, Croatia and Canada, are virtually non-existent.
More specifically, the national team led by Walid Regragui would have a 0.3% chance of winning the World Cup, placing it 22nd in the ranking of nations favored for the final victory. The Atlas Lions have a 9.8% chance of reaching the quarter-finals, 3.3% of reaching the semi-finals and 1.1% of being one of the two finalist teams, adds the same source.
On the continent, only Senegal is ahead of Morocco in these predictions (1.1%, 14th). The kingdom is followed by Tunisia (0.2%, 26th), Cameroon (0.2%, 27th) and Ghana (0.1%, 29th). As for the favorites for the title, Opta Analyst cited, in order, Brazil (16.3%), Argentina (13.1%), France (12%), Spain (8.9%) and England (8.8%).
