Morocco’s Football Chief Lekjaa Set for Third Term as Federation President

Barring any last-minute surprises, Fouzi Lekjaa is very likely to be reappointed as head of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) at the next general assembly.
The sole candidate running for his own succession, Fouzi Lekjaa officially filed his candidacy for the position of president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation on Saturday, June 4. He will easily regain his position at the next elective general assembly scheduled for June 24.
The outgoing president has a laudatory record that speaks in his favor. It is also under his mandate that major projects have been launched and will be completed within a few months.
According to the regulations in force, the next federal office will be composed of the president, representatives of the Leagues, a representative of the referees and a representative of former players.
