Morocco Fires Coach Vahid Halilhodzic, Sparking Speculation of Hakim Ziyech’s Return

Vahid Hailhodzic is no longer the coach of the Moroccan national team. Will this dismissal of the Franco-Bosnian coach mark the return of Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech to the national team? He had announced in January that he would no longer play for the kingdom.
Does Vahid Hailhodzic’s dismissal now open the prospect of a return of Hakim Ziyech to the national team? This is quite possible, insofar as the Moroccan international who had remained at odds with the Franco-Bosnian coach had conditioned his comeback on the departure of the latter. "He can fly high, dismissal low, stand on my doorstep, sleep in my attic or in my basement. I won’t play for this coach," the Chelsea midfielder had privately declared. The latter has not, for the time being, reacted to Vahid Hailhodzic’s dismissal.
The pieces seem to be falling into place. According to consistent sources, the former Ajax Amsterdam star will be on the list of players called up for the next gathering in September, reports Le360. He should play the two friendly matches against Chile on Friday, September 23 in Barcelona, then against Paraguay on Tuesday, September 27 in Seville as part of the preparations for the 2022 World Cup, which will take place from November 21 to December 18 in Qatar.
