Morocco Finally Knows Its Final Program Before the 2026 World Cup
On the road to the 2026 World Cup, Morocco begins in May the final stage of its preparation. Between team gathering, friendly matches and a trip to the United States, the national team’s schedule is now officially sealed.
National coach Mohamed Ouahbi will unveil his squad list on May 14th. He will retain 26 players, accompanied by several substitutes to handle any unforeseen circumstances. This announcement will mark the start of preparation, which will begin at the end of the month with a closed-door training camp at the Mohammed VI complex in Maâmoura. International players committed to their European clubs will gradually join the group at the beginning of June, in order to perfect the physical and tactical harmony of the squad.

The departure for the United States will take place on June 3rd heading to their New York-based camp. A few days later, on June 7th, the Moroccans will face Norway for a final test at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey.

Placed in Group C, the Lions of the Atlas will begin the grand world tournament, scheduled from June 11 to July 19, against Brazil on Saturday, June 13 at the New York-New Jersey stadium. They will then head to Boston to face Scotland on Friday, June 20. Finally, their last group stage match will pit them against Haiti on Wednesday, June 25 on the pitch in Atlanta. All of these first-round matches will be followed at 11 p.m. Morocco time.
