A New Match Confirmed for Morocco’s Team
In preparation for the 2026 World Cup, Morocco’s national team is set to face El Salvador on June 3 next in the United States. This match was announced by the Salvadoran side, pending official confirmation from Morocco.
The president of the Salvadoran federation, Yamil Bukele, revealed on his official X account the scheduling of this match at Northwest Stadium in Maryland. He believes this confrontation will constitute a solid and useful test for his country against one of the most prominent teams on the international stage. For its part, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has yet to issue any official announcement on the matter.

This match would be added to Morocco’s national team’s preparation program for the next World Cup’s final stages. The federation has already confirmed the organization of another friendly match against Norway, scheduled for June 7, 2026. This game will also take place on American soil, at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey.
