Morocco World Cup 2026: Atlas Lions’ Upcoming Matches and Schedule

The road to the 2026 World Cup is becoming clearer for Walid Regragui’s men. Francisco Egas, president of the Ecuadorian Football Federation, confirmed that a friendly match against Morocco will take place on March 27 in Madrid. Shortly afterward, the Paraguayan Football Association announced a second encounter between Albirroja and the Atlas Lions, scheduled for March 31 in France.

These two clashes against South American teams will serve as crucial tests ahead of the final phase of the North American tournament. The draw, held in Washington, placed Morocco in Group C alongside Brazil, Scotland and Haiti.

The group-stage schedule promises to be intense for the Moroccan national team, which will make its debut on Saturday, June 13, in New York (MetLife Stadium) in a gala match against Brazil. The Lions will then face Scotland on June 19 in Boston before concluding the first round against Haiti on June 24 in Atlanta.
