Morocco Faces Tough Test Against Egypt in U-23 Africa Cup of Nations Final
The Moroccan national under-23 team will face the defending champion Egyptian team in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations. This match is scheduled for tonight and will be broadcast live on several channels.
This match will take place at the Moulay Abdellah complex in Rabat, after the Lionceaux qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games following a victory against Mali. The Moroccan team, which has scored 10 goals in 4 matches thanks in particular to Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, must break the Egyptian defensive wall which has not yet conceded a goal in the tournament.
The match presents a colossal challenge for the Lionceaux of the Atlas. Fatigue has accumulated after a 120-minute battle and a penalty shootout against Mali. The Moroccan selection, led by Issam Charaï, will have to show skillful team management to counterbalance the Egyptian energy, which did not have much difficulty in overcoming Guinea. Charaï, anticipating fatigue, has preserved several of his key players like Bilal El Khannouss, Ismaïl Sibari and Yanis Begraoui, which could be decisive in this confrontation.
When and on what channels can I watch the football match?
Like the previous matches of the Moroccan U23 team, the match can be watched live on Arryadia and on BeIn4. The match is also broadcast live on the CAF YouTube channel (link below as soon as it is available) starting at 9pm (Moroccan time) and 10pm in Europe.
