Morocco to Face Ivory Coast in Friendly Match Ahead of 2024 Africa Cup of Nations

The Atlas Lions will cross swords with the Elephants of Côte d’Ivoire on October 14 in Abidjan for a friendly match, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) confirmed on Monday.
Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire will play this friendly match on the pitch of the Félix Houphouet Boigny stadium, the Moroccan Federation said in a statement published on its website, specifying that this match "serves as preparation for the 34th edition of the CAN which will be played from January 13 to February 11 next in Côte d’Ivoire".
The match against Liberia counting for the last round of the CAN qualifiers, initially scheduled for September 9 last and postponed due to the deadly earthquake that hit Morocco, will finally be played on October 17 in Agadir, announced the FRMF.
