Morocco Extends Tourism Sector Support Payments Through May 2021

The flat-rate monthly allowance for the tourism sector will continue until the end of May 2021. This is what the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) announced in a press release published on Friday.
These allowances concern classified tourist accommodation establishments, approved travel agencies, authorized tourist transport, as well as temporary employment agencies with a contract with operators in tourism-related sub-sectors and tourist guides.
In this sense, the employers involved and wishing their employees to benefit from these financial aids have the duty to declare their employees. This declaration will be made through the "covid19.cnss.ma" portal, and during the period that will be indicated by the decree that will soon be published in the Official Bulletin.
Regarding the granting of the allowances, it will start on April 13, 2021 for declarations up to March. For declarations of April and May, the granting will start on the 16th of each month concerned, until the 3rd of the following month, the CNSS specified.
