Morocco Pays October Tourism Sector Allowance Amid COVID-19 Recovery Efforts

The CNSS is proceeding with the payment of the flat-rate allowance for the tourism sector for the month of October since Monday, December 1.
This payment comes after those of the months of July, August and September, reports l’Économiste.
This 2,000 DH allowance was granted by the State as part of the relaunch of the tourism sector, heavily impacted by the health crisis due to the coronavirus. It concerns employees in the tourism sector declared by their employers until September 24.
The establishments concerned by these sectors are classified accommodation establishments, approved travel agencies, approved tourist carriers, as well as tourist guides subject to the social security system in accordance with laws 98.15 and 99.15 relating to social and medical coverage of non-salaried workers.
