Morocco Expands University Scholarships for Overseas Nationals’ Children

Several Moroccan consulates general abroad have announced the opening of applications to benefit from university scholarships reserved for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs.
The process, which concerns the 2019-2020 academic year, is addressed to Moroccan students from underprivileged families who are not scholarship holders in their country of residence.
According to the Moroccan Consulate in Tarragona, this initiative is part of a cultural and social support program developed by the Delegate Minister to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, for the benefit of underprivileged social groups.
Moroccan students wishing to benefit from this scholarship are invited to collect the application form from the consular services and submit their files, accompanied by the required documents, to the social service no later than January 27, 2020.
To recall, the announcement of the new provision had been made by the Head of Government, Saâdeddine El Othmani, during the appointment of Abdelkrim Benatiq as head of the ministry in charge of Moroccans residing abroad.
