Morocco Expands Tourism Sector Support, Including Aid for Restaurants

The government intends to support all regulated tourism professions in Morocco. They will all benefit from support and relaunch assistance, both socially and in terms of financing.
No regulated tourism profession will be excluded from the support measures provided for in the tourism sector contract program, signed on Thursday, August 6, between the State and the private sector, reports Le 360.
According to a source close to the Ministry of Tourism, classified restaurateurs are already concerned by the financing measures provided for in this contract program (credits guaranteed by the CCG). However, the steps continue regarding the maintenance of the monthly lump-sum allowance of 2,000 dirhams.
As for the specific measures planned for the professions, they will be communicated within two weeks, pending the finalization of the last adjustments in progress.
